After a rousing chorus or three of "are you ready, Eddy?" I'm onto this ....

Should I admit that I went to ELP’s first gig? More to the point, should I admit that I thought it was brilliant? Didn’t like their albums much except for the first one and Pictures.
Since I’m in confessional mode, should I also admit that when PJC and I were working in a hifi shop we listened to side 1 of Topographic Oceans first thing every morning for about two months? Probably accounts for a lot of my peculiarities...

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

Oh Yes! Now you're talking. ...I felt the knife in my hand, she laughed no more! ....Framed! ....And so on- wonderful! I saw them back in 73 or so in a venue off the Strand. It was amazing & wild without any violence. What a night! Disagree with Chris on this though. Alex Harvey was such a brilliant performer. The man sweated blood!

Aha! Chris putting me right. It was The Lyceum in the Strand and could have been 1976.

drat and double drat...snigger
I have really fragmented memories now.....all I can remember of the last alex harvey concert, which was at christmas, was that there were party hats and those rolled up blowing tubes that unwound...on every seat in the theatre...I can't remember if it was the rainbow or hammersmith odeon, or even somewhere else, but it was deffo christmas.....I remember zal cleminson sitting on top of this really high wall...the chemicals I had mistakenly taken made me terrified he was going to fall...oh waily
drat and double drat.
must have been 73 or 74 or thereabouts...Vambo rools!

Had a Siouxsie moment, so been playing 'Ju Ju,' 'Kiss In The Dreamhouse' and 'Tinderbox!' The first album has little top and the other two all but scream at you whatever the format
