Live concert from the CBSO in Brum. Their 100th anniversary. Excellent

Less good Video and SQ on the Youtube stream however

The piece from Slumdog Millionaire was excellent - wonderful sitar playing.

did anybody catch the Anoushka Shankar prom from the Albert Hall on friday evening.
I only managed to watch a bit but it was spellbinding...awesome!

A bit like the cricket when there is a sudden happening...it was wierd at the end of a piece when there was silence....surreal even.
There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be

Michael kiwanuka - home again

I have one of his others, but ive never heard this one before. i picked it up on vinyl from Hmv. Made me sit up and listen, it reminds me of isaac hayes hot buttered soul. And a load of others too. Not sure how i missed it
