in the 6th form at school it was that and astral weeks that confirmed I'd made the right choice in pursuing the bass.

On one of my "job lot" purchase of CDs there were a lot of BBC music CDs.

Now on is Handel's Messiah, part 1 54:41 duration.

One thing I didn't realise that although Handel was the composer this piece was arranged by Mozart. Presumably after Handel's death going by their dates. Handel died 1759, Mozart born 1756.
