As heard on Steve Barker's excellent Radio Lancashire music programme, a couple of weeks ago when I was on hol near Kendal.
I believe he has a Peel-like cult following - with good reason.

Not arf. He did some cracking albums. Theres a cheap 5cd box set of his that covers that era of his albums. S'good.

Shades of Blue and Dusk Fire still going round and round and round, I'm going to buy some more Rendell and Carr. I like.
