Philadelphia group playing Hawaiian steel guitar jazz, with touches of Western Swing and Tex-Mex to add interest.
Tracks recorded live in one take at Retro City Studios Philadelphia.
Easy breezy tunes and very high quality sound.
Reminds me of my Dad’s Hawaiian jazz 78s

This 1973 Bowie release, on the original vinyl:

Great album of ‘60s covers.
My personal faves are, the positively eerie version of “Shapes of Things” and Ainsley Dunbar’s crazed Keith Moonesque drum break on “Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere” complete with phased cymbals; plus of course, the single release, “Sorrow”
The only duff track for me is the version of Floyd’s “See Emily Play” which comes across as a bit clumsy and for me, doesn’t quite work.

Wicked Moog bass lines. Jazz-Funk at its best; from one of the masters of the genre.

From 1975. Produced by George Martin and engineered by Geoff Emerick.
