Wonder if he had a Linn/Naim system.

You are absolutely correct!
I hadn't listened to it since ditching my vinyl collection so I was overjoyed at realising my stupidity for forgetting about it.
btw Steve, last time I played it was lp12/ittok and meridian modular pre/power and kef 104/2...I think that qualifies for flat earth...along time ago in a galaxy far away

Steve hillage live herald
Nigel very kindly brought this round for me yesterday when he collected his g99, I have a copy somewhere but it is pretty knackered. This copy is alot better and the album is great.
Cheers Nigel!

That's the record that got me into Traffic. I found a copy in a box of junk I bought from someone - only in an inner sleeve though. Is it 'Stellar Blue' on the end of one side ? - amazing track. Must play it this week.

The album got pretty well slated but I think it's really good.
Now playing Pierre Moerlen's Gong -"Time Is the Key"
Another fine album as are the other records in his incarnation of the band.

Had some gong on earlier too, had both angels egg and camanbert electrique. Kinda followed on from the Steve hillage.
