Nice to see another Beiderbecke Affair fan.
I've got it on a DVD set, must watch again soon.

Watched and enjoyed the original series, hoped they would either make a follow up or at least repeat it, but its never happened although I must look out a copy of the dvd if its avaialable on ebay.
My wife watches Coronation Street and everytime I see Roy Cropper walking through the street with his shortie beige coat and shopping bag It always reminds me James Bolam in the Beiderbecke Affair

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

I must have been living under a rock
I vaguely remember the titles of the follow ups and feel certain I must have watched them.........but maybe not.
A root around ebay is called for I think.
Thanks for the input Shane

Ah yes. Also in A Very Peculiar Practice. Which I've got somewhere.

That was such a great programme, I have the boxed set but I must admit I haven't watched the third series. It was very interesting for me in that it was filmed around Leeds not far from the University , only about 2 or 3 years before I was there as a student. Barbara Flynn - top notch ! She was in something early 70's , saw some of that on 'Talking Pictures', what would that have been ?

Oh my, 1971. What were they like then?
It was fantastic (IMO) last night. I'd only seen them once before too, in 2016.
