Home working seems good so far, 2hrs in.
The sun is shining and the beautiful tones of John Renbourn and Jackie McShee are on the turntable :

Ella Fitzgerald - Let No Man Write My Epitaph. On Classic Records vinyl.

Recorded a couple of weeks short of 60 years ago. Indescribably good. The world doesn't seem such a bad place now whilst listening to this :-).

Just stumbled upon a box of CDs that I got off Ebay as a job lot.

First up is "The ultimate classic collection" on HMV classics label.

As I have just acquired a Magnum Dynalab FT101 I have been listening to a lot of R3 over the last week or so. And very nice a lot of it is as well :-)

I've had a few new Vinyl Albums to listen to.
BB King Lucille is totally enjoyable, but the Jazz Album Money Jungle, now that got my attention.

Worrying I know....

I've retired to a bottle of Cabernet and Jacques Loussier play Bach. Is this a cure or a shock?

Otoh, I tried Miles Davis On the Corner. Couldn't stand it. Anna would not let me play Jimi at the Hollywood Bowl - atrocious recording but I was lissnin' forcsomeyhing specific.

If I was alone.... I'd retire to Bitches Brew but that string bass of the JL trio will have too soooooooothe.
