I wanted to correct this for a long time but never got to it: The 30k/1,5W resistor needs to be 3W.

Here is the B+ psu that works with a standard Avel Lindberg toroid and voltage doubler. B+ should not be less than 132V.

So I've made a start - today I soldered up the boards for the 6C33C B+ power supplies;

Excellent, It's good to have someone else building this circuit.

I will be ordering the metalwork for my chassis tomorrow. I should make some quick progress once I get that delivered but I'll still have to wait for the main transformer to be delivered before I get to listen.

Not much progress lately because of some family health issues needing my time but yesterday I finally ordered the chassis for my 6C33C build.

Because of heat management considerations I've gone for a 'Dissipante' from Modushop;

and specified some additional machining for the valve sockets etc. The heatsinks are to dissipate the heat from the current sinks whilst I've also included the option for a couple of 'silent' fans to keep the temperature of the 6C33C sockets manageable. The top of the chassis will look like this;

The power transformers etc. will have their own chassis that will match the Dissipante but without the heatsinks.

More soldering today; assembled the boards for the Neurochrome Maida regulated supply that will power the 6SN7 driver stage along with the regulated supply for the 6SN7 filaments.

Just waiting for the chassis and toroid to arrive and I can start bolting it all together.

Still bloody waiting for the Pinnacle kit. Three days to ship from the US, been stuck in Customs in Coventry for the last two weeks. Typical.

Well, I've unpacked the box and Modushop has done a great job of the chassis top plate so I'll be able to start assembly this weekend. Unfortunately there were also a couple of errors that I've had to query with them but I've already had a positive response, which is reassuring. Pictures IDC.
