The case was originally for something else
This is why I wont build things like this for other people
Ok so i need to get as much air flow through the case as possible otherwise there is a good possibility of shortening the component service life

Yep, ventilation is your friend.
Whenever an honest man discovers that he's mistaken, he will either cease to be mistaken or he will cease to be honest.

Hopefully I can avoid it ending up looking like a colander
Lots of marking out of holes and drilling out the top and base required, and a long vent along the bottom of the fascias might not go amiss too

Cut the fascia panels today then used the jointer to make them slot into the extrusions
Simple
The extrusions will be painted black once all the vent holes have been drilled in the top and bottom
Have got some 20mm standoffs for the plain veroboard ive ordered to build it up on so it will be well away from the base, and make sure I get even airflow under the board too.
