Don't believe everything David says, The final assembly of the first one tomorrow. Hopefully it will work, and hopefully it wont go bang in a big way. The 850va transformer looks a bit threatening.

Really looking forward for my pair when they are ready.

David,
I will need another shelf with legs for my rack to accommodate the amps. What delivery time is it on these?

This pair are not much more than second prototypes, the ones after these two should be the finished version. But close, and a long way from the bits of MDF at Owston. Get the rest of the casework on tommorow, so will post a pic of it all together. Now to build the second of the pair.

I should have thought most of the work evolving the design from the breadboard lash-ups at Owston into those cases and a finished CE compliant product has gone into designing the PCB's? Nice work by-the-way, as ever.

Nick,
I need to order a new shelf and spacer legs for my hifi rack, can you advise me the overall height of the cases including feet, so I can order the right length support legs from David, please.

Also actually make them stable, instead of by luck for the ones at Owston. Adding extra power supplies so the headroom is increased and the target power is 175W instead of the 80W at Owston. Also adding speaker protection circuits, also adding control processor to startup the thing without dimming the lights, Also adding temperature sensors to shut down if heatsinks get to 80C. Plus getting the casework designed and built.

Oh, and doing the PCB's

:-)
