Room EQ

Since I moved into my new place 18 months ago now, I have never had good sound reproduction. The bass was overpowering on many tracks. Using RoomSim from http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/multi-wa ... ation.html, I could see the problem - a big peak at 50Hz. While browsing the Elliott Sound Products website, I found this: http://www.sound.westhost.com/project28.htm and finally found time to have a go today. I made just the subwoofer section and it is only in peaking mode. Modified schematic attached and finished photo showing it mounted inside my amplifier.

I can now listen to anything without the overpowering bass on some tracks - a definite result.

Would be interesting to see what it can do with the room at Owston.
