DHT Heater using VCCS - PCB or Kit (Possible Group buy)

Not quite - 2 unfinished projects:
Something - 45 -300B
and
Something - 45 - 211
I've decided to revisit both, but this time with more emphasis on the power supply side, including heaters.

Not at the moment, the plan is to sell them on ebay, but I am sure we will have something for beta testers

Shame! I use 26-10Y-300B, but there's so many valves and so little time.

Wow, I've just read through this whole thread. What a huge amount of work by Andrew, Mark, Nick and everyone else!
Very happy to be a beta tester for the new boards if that would help. Or pay the Ebay price. Whatever works best

I have some boards left Max, but nothing that can handle a 211, you need to wait for the new boards Nick's mentioned for those really big triodes.
The new boards are all about cooler running, more power efficiency etc; in electrical terms there's no reason to believe they won't sound the same as they old ones. The aim is to replicate the sound but reduce the heat generated, its not excessive for 300B but when you get to GM70 and 211 its just not a practical proposition.
So....you won't loose out by getting a couple of the existing boards, if you want to press on with your projects rather the wait?
cheers,
Andrew

Hi Max,
Let me have a dig, the 211 will need to wait for the new version but I should have some bits left for the 45, 300B and indirect valves.

My GK71 type (same as GM70) are still working fine.

OK, thanks Andrew,
I'll use the existing version for breadboarding/prototyping, then probably switch to the newer version if/when I get to the stage of putting things into nice boxes. Or if you want me to do any comparisons between the old and new versions.

Max, I've had a rummage. Ok, so you could use the small or big board, depends if want heatsink on pcb or connect heatsink to an external case. Electrically they are the same, save the heat sink and two more smoothing caps on the heatsink to case version, really done for 2A3.
I'm getting low now, but should have enough of each, just let me know.

Hi Andrew
I you have them, I'd like 8 of the DHT boards (4 for 45, 4 for 300B) and 8 of the IDHT boards
I'd prefer kits if you have them but happy to take just the PCBs
Shall I pm you?
