Hammond do quite a few enclosures, ranging in size from the tiny one a couple of inches square to large one about 18" wide, and do them in steel aluminium and plastic,
Philip at bluebell audio sells them and I think the smaller ones are available from maplins too,
Thats where id look first
Edit: Farnell has loads of them in stock

I’ve had a couple of these and found them very good.

The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.

For one reason or another, I'm rather partial to plastic cases Perspex is too fragile for my shaky drill, but these work just fine and although not a 'sled type,' they should be perfectly safe enough and if an amp is ever built into one, there's room for heatsink plates or fin types..
Works for me and my fully 'Dual mono' (mainly) headphone amp runs sweetly, pretty quietly and looks cool with all sockets on the easily drilled back panel and two red LED's on the front, one for each channel...
