Seriously, its worth doing, we did mine and Nick's one weekend a few years ago, then James did his, all units showed significantly better noise floor, the difference is not subtle, especially if you are planning on building phonos.

Noted, thanks Andrew, we've been away on hols so I'm still catching up with screening the all the case work with the Ultraperm at the moment.

That's a very worthwhile step. If I recall. Nick and I used copper tape, perhaps ultraperm is better? Dunno, but it should be possible to compare before and after and eventually compare with ours - you may have a better solution and it would be good to know.

Any chance of a diagram, not really following this 'mod'
"No matter how fast light travels it finds that the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it."

You could always compare and contrast with mine, which is unadulterated as yet….
Mike I think the idea is to line the casework of the Millet box with (earthed) ultraperm sheet, something I guess I should get round to doing. I'll see how DTB gets on with his and sneakily copy him if its any good….

Ok great, but what about the "Two off BSP129 with 20R across the gates" ?

Have you got a copy of the circuit, Mike?
