Re: A unipivot made from scrap
I dont think its that the schroeder is bass light, your digital side should be flat so if you have set your levels using a combination of the 401 and the digital side they should be pretty flat

Re: Latest vinyl 'finds'.
I suppose im lucky in that the ones i got were about a tenner each, apart from sweetnighter which was 2 quid. Re: Latest vinyl 'finds'.
Well i got sick of hearing the same bloody things the missus keeps playing over and over again, so i decided to look at some more of the jazz/fusion/world music type of stuff. Ive been after sweetnighter for a while (id put it in the discogs want list), the keith jarret one because of the fact that ...

While i was at it i stripped and rebuilt the capstan as both it and the motor had to come out to get the belt in. Had to give the drive surfaces on both a good clean due to...

Re: A unipivot made from scrap
It was abit soft still ray, it hadn't fully cured, so i used some of pauls pipe freeze spray left over from when i fitted the rodi filter for the fish tank (good shout paul, forgot all about that) to get it to shrink abit, gripped it in the vice then twisted the tube to crack it off. Took some off t...

Re: A unipivot made from scrap
Oops
Over did it with the extra weight from the brass, ended up with a calculated effective mass of nearly 25g....
Balls. Already glued the cart carrier bit into the tube... bit of brute force will be required to get it back out
