That's quite a low power one, there is a separate 6.3V heater for rectifier valve, but low power (only 1 Amp) e.g. say 6X5, EZ81 and such like. It won't run a GZ34 even with a dropper resistor to make the Volts right.

I think this is referring to 'crosstalk', :?: so you could get crosstalk via the power supply as well as other means say capcitance between opposite channel signal leads and such-like. OK by adding 10k to the left channel seems to get the stereo image more properly in the middle.
