You may also want to look out for some Svetlana 6c33c's. When I was messing with the valve, I found the Svets were measurably more linear than the more common Ulyanov ones.

Raising the inductor will lower the xover frequency, but you can make up for it by raising the cap a similar amount. In my experience though I wouldn't worry too much over the exact frequency, I tried all sorts and it doesn't make that much difference. At least to my ears.
