Re: Something stirs in the Undergrowth
That is something else, all right!
edit:
I've read that thread now, and looked at the pictures.
Realized a gent there looked familiar, and he was indeed at the ETF.
When do you think you have your horn up and playing, Mark?

Re: What are these voltage regulator tubes ? !!
The "house system" was the creation of Il Bahnsen of http://www.bahnsenengineering.dk
This was his TV-system, believe it or not. I don't know much about the driver he used,
except that he used 6 ( or 8 ) 12" drivers for bass, a cone driver for midrange and a ribbon for the treble.

Re: What are these voltage regulator tubes ? !!
Thomas and Bjørn are friends of mine, and we traveled down to Denmark together. So naturally I spent the most time in the norwegian room. By saturday night everything was adjusted to fit the room and we also were lucky enough to have Charles King connect his Stellavox reel to reel player to the syst...

Re: The Latest Push-Pull Build
It was an earlier post on his blog if I remember correctly. Both writing about an amp he built, and on a separate post about power supplies. I think he used two GZ34 in parallel in the negative leg? I might be confusing it with some posts he wrote on the Joe Robert's list a while back, where the hyr...

Re: The Latest Push-Pull Build
jc morrison showed an interesting take on that on his log a while back.
He might have written something about it here on this site as well, I'm not sure.

Re: The Latest Push-Pull Build
Hmmm, I'm getting this urge to build a high output impedance pentode amp?
Using some of those Russian pentodes?
And it's all because of this thread. Mostly.
