I concur with Nick.

I even use 100k pots on transistor amp front-ends (with large value bias resistors for the first stage) just in case the source clutches its pearl necklace and faints if presented with anything much lower

Nice Steve. Does aluminium work-harden at all or can it be bent "in one"? It does work harden so you probably have only the one chance to get it right. Steel is more forgiving but harder to get moving in the first place. Copper would be a brilliant option for bending. My experience has be...

Had another go at making Polish potato pierogies, this time with Twarog cheese. However despite more salt and spices (garam massala and half a Korean pot noodle spice sachet), the filling is still quite overwhelmed by the flavour of the pastry. Needs more work?

Ah I remember poking about in old boards like that, trying to figure out what does what. A fellow sixth former who knew more about it than me, I used to drive him nuts asking what does this do? How does this work? And what does this do? And how does this work?
