Quite interesting. Apparently tants can be more prone to failure. ESR and leakage can be good, but may be non-linear over a frequency range.

Only times I've seen tant's used is for small size. They're not good for audio anyway. So yeah do it.

I presume you meant 1 Megohms, so you have to write '1meg' or '1Meg' (can't be an 'M' on its own, and no spaces).

Yeah it's alright! Sounds very smooth. Bass is all there and not flabby. Treble is clean with good detail, and not 'in yer face' with it (what Phil calls 'transistor ear').
