I added the link http://triodeplugins.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/testrepo.xml to the additional repositories box and hit apply and LMS returned a reboot request message. I clicked on the reboot now option and LMS rebooted, and once having done so it had the new BBC iPlayer plugin up and working. No se...

In that case you'll find it useful if you listen to BBC radio stuff over the internet.

Are you using the device as a standalone unit?
If you are then you don't need it.

If you're using another device to run server, such as Vortexbox (DtB), Zyxel NSA310 (me) and using Triode's BBC iPlayer plugin then you'd find it useful.

iPlayer modifications in LMS

As Squeezebox users may well be aware the BBC decided to rationalise (pronounced fuck up ) their live stream feeds for internet radio services. The fix slipped past me when it was announced, but I spotted it tonight, tried it, and it all seems to be playing ball. The fix is here http://forums.slimde...

My Sky box picture seems dull compared to normal Freeview pictures. If I adjust the TV picture quality on the HDMI input, will that also affect the picture quality on the aerial input ? Can't you adjust the settings on the Sky HD box? There are none for colour or contrast or brightness. :( Unless y...

I popped round to Colin's for a listen this afternoon, and I'm glad I did. The new cabinets look a lot nicer in the flesh - the photos look good, but do not do them proper justice. The new cabinet construction has tightened things up considerably (and it wasn't bad to start with), and the speed and ...

And the shape of it. Why on earth would you make something meant to live in a pocket triangular? I've managed to lose my keys in the pocket I eventually found them in - I can carry a lot of stuff in my pockets on occasion. I think even I would struggle to lose a Pono player in my pockets, so it's m...

I don't want to cause any alarm Colin, but somebody has sneaked into your listening room and relieved you of your 300B amplifier valves

Something that intrigued me about the Fender Custom Shop bass was the four holes between the bridge and the bridge pickup. Then it hit me - they were there because Fender fitted string mutes as standard. A quick dig around and hey presto! http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f224/Negative7bass/DSC00430...
