Yes , makes sense as long as you can get the head-amp in a shielded box (from motor fields). Then there's more current and voltage driving the longer wires to the phono amp , which has to be good.

Shane, I like your idea of using a DIN :D This is on the tonearm>phono amp run, so it makes sense given there's a DIN on the other end, into the Mayware arm .
