Why would the SB Touch need to read the files any faster?
It can play 24/192 files from a standard card.
It can't play back anything beyond 24/192, so there's no need for high speed cards - they won't make a difference to The Touch.

I thought this might be an alternative to a USB stick and as SD cards are now high speed then it might work better or, dare I say, faster The speed element in high speed ...

The Jeff Beck album was the follow up to Flash, which is not Jeff's (or Nile's) crowning glory by any stretch. The production of Guitar Shop isn't particularly great, but as a body of music it's not bad at all. I've pulled this off the rack, and I'm quite enjoying it, despite the iffy production. Ma...

Dunno Ali.
They were just there on the outside stage when we went to the footie, and I was ordering food when they were announced, so I missed what was said.

The man played on a fair chunk of my music collection.
He'll be sorely missed.

Well that was interesting, although I was not exactly blown away by either Zappa piece.
Frank had a long time love/hate relationship with orchestras, and I could hear why - I'm sure that Frank himself would have hated every second of it 8)

Listening to the broadcast right now.
"G-Spot Tornado" was interesting, but couldn't approach the power and drive, or the mania of Frank's original synclavier piece.

I wonder how "Greggery" is going to fare ... 8)

I was around at Colin's tonight copping an earful of these here speakers, and from the first note I could hear something very special going on. The new cabinet structure looks slimmer than the original, and the new tweeter is a lot more communicative than its predecessor. I know that there's a touch...

Been to Manchester this afternoon, and couldn't resist popping into Fopp in passing.
Came away with a fresh new vinyl pressing of this, and it sounds fantastic ...

Wasn't too expensive either, at £11.00.
