My copy of the new Hendrix landed this morning.
It's a peach of an album - the material is really strong, the playing is well up to snuff, and the recordings are first rate.
The pressing is really good too.

Highly recommended :)

I saw 'em at Manchester Uni a lifetime ago - I got in helping out humping the PA stuff around, and I've still got a broken drum stick somewhere from that gig.
They were pretty good.
I actually thought that Vernon Reid's guitar tech was a much better player, truth be told ;)
