Re: The Light

Carbon 12 Oxygen 16 so 1 Carbon + 2 Oxygen = 44 44 * 2 / 12 = 7.3 So 2,000,000 tons of coal of 100% carbon and entirely converted to CO2 would produce 7.300.000 tons of CO2 So the figure looks entirely possible. what is the volume of gas 1 mole of CO2 (or any gas) occupies 22.4 dm^3 at s.t.p, where...

As Steve pointed out, you can get a decent MM and I think it's probably good enough to warrant that. It has that certain MM sound and direct drive character and the the zero trac...

Re: SL-5?

Trying a bit of "Frankieee", it didn't auto recognise the 45, but hey, it seemed fitting and some of my FGTH is a bit worn so no loss with a 30 odd year on cart.

Re: SL-5?

Well worth the asking then? Almost a 'Barn find, Ali' :) Worth it? Yes indeedy, less than round of drinks at Cranage, it's a bit splashy at the top end, but worth investing in a better cart, it's got that typical MM cart sound. I'll bring it down to Colin's next time we have a bash. The honest answ...

Great work as usual, Colin.

Re: SL-5?

Thanks Steve. Wow that second one is quite spendy, I wonder if the deck warrants it?
