back loaded forward firing horn ... and what's this! I just happen to have a pair going spare! blow me down with a feather. consider this tale of woe and frustration. after having 'damped' a pair of 207s with damart, or whatever that dope stuff is, I went on and on to experiment in all sorts of cabs...

Well I have probably seen it, but no, not really. Grid stoppers are just there to stop rf and other high frequency oscillation getting started and messing up the valve doing its job properly, and 6SN7s, being wonderful valves designed for supreme audio just don't do that sort of thing. Used properly...
