It's a long time since I played music .... it's in threes, could be 6/8 . #uck what a track, it has me in tears every time I play it . ILPS seems a bit more complicated than just 6/8....... the bridge part appears to be 6/8 but the verse seems more like a split of 6/8 and 7/8 or complete 13/8.. or ...

Chris I think this is going in the wrong direction.....

it was meant to be about a piece of music via a synthesiser voice.....not about a loudspeaker........

I thought it might have some merit for running in new FR drivers...nothing more, apologies if I was misleading

There's certainly some low frequency content, but you must've been playing it pretty loud to get serious cone movement... on the contrary...It was because there was little volume that I was intrigued by the movement........ its conceivable that its a querk of the alpairs....I will swap in some othe...

hi Phil I believe you will find a similar thing if you look underneath your vofos. I always weld 8mm nuts to penny washers and drill 4 holes round the edge of the penny washer to screw them in place...to hold the spikes. its the only thing that works for heavy cabinets. They've been on all my cabine...

I've no idea where I've been this afternoon but I've certainly missed half the meaning of the posts I've been responding to....... back to: Its surface area AND distance between plates, so if they are closer together they dont need to be bigger. is it possible to get a 10000uf 63v cap in smd format?...

I thought there already was "a plague of film caps", :D but the "wrong sort", i.e. not suitable for audio signals. Chris is right SMD won't do high power. So I reckon there's always going to be axials etc. as required. Although just recently I found 1 Watt SMD's on RS, not too t...
