If all the splurge is accepted and the STW meets it's environmental consent standard then it should in theory be fit to drink? But rarely, if ever, is. Don't know what the stats are now but 20 years ago London tap water had been through 11 people before the lucky drinker... Gives me a warm feeling :)

O/P is a 300B, not 2A3 :D 5k means less distortion, albeit with less power I grant you. If he doesn't want to run it higher than 50mA, as I do as well, that's about it really.
