Yep, count me in for either date. James can't make May but June would be OK for him.

If May, anyone travelling up from the South West (Ray P?) and would like to lift share?

Hi Mike, Yes, I am using XP. My hard drive is pretty uncluttered because I have all large files like music and photos stored on my external hard drive. I'm interested in your suggestion, but how do I do it? Treat me gently and talk me through in simple terms if you don't mind. Thanks. Regards, Greg

Not again ! We went through all those quite recently. Yep, we certainly did, but if you're in training, Reps are par for the course. Furthermore, if we've got to go to Yorkshire and in consequence converse with Yorkshiremen, the more you know and understand, the more readily you can di...

Thanks Steve and Simon for your advise. I'm not actually in the market for a new system at the moment. Far too much spending to be done on kitchen/dining room/bathroom conversion which requires total house rewire, new CH boiler and alot else. My PC is three years old and I just get frustrated with a...

Tony,

DTB came up with a great basic introductory unit when he joined in here. He won an Eggfest award for it. I'm sure it was a Phono stage but I could be wrong. Certainly it was an ebay economical starter. Give him a kick and make him tell all.

Regards,

Greg

Tony, I'm sure Ronald is well intentioned but that was WAD's first serious attempt at a pre-amp with phono stage and the subsequent Phono II/Pre II and PSU II was far better. Several of us use this and of course the 3rd version is currently available from WD. Alot of people had hum issues with the o...
