Right, dogs walked and family fed. Now ready to mount the front boards. 96 solder joints to go.

Well, I reckon another 2 to 4 hours work and we have family coming soon. The other half has been very patient but I don't want to push it.

The 26 and 45 DC boards mount like this

Blue toroidal are for 26/45. 71A DC boards mount internally stacked 2 high.

This is the umbilical socket for the thermistors, which connect to an offboard power supply which controls the voltage to a pair of fans mounted in back of the cupboard. If the DC boards get hot, the fans speed up.

Mixed emotions for sure. CURSING myself for such a stupid mistake in the first place. And for not checking myself. But so pleased to have found it

Unfortunately getting at those means stripping back a large part of the build. Early start tomorrow. Really want this working for Xmas.

Found it. Within 2 minutes of taking the base off. Connection on interstage just as I thought it was. Will confirm in about 30 minutes. I've waited my 30 mins at least. Hope that's a result. Fantastic if it is. cheers, Stephen I likes to keep my audience in suspenders. Ooh err missus & all that...
