to me there may not be much difference but to the great and jealous God, RIAA, well what would he think about it - LOL that's great provided your record has been cut to the same fine tolerances  . Yes, but given you don't know if the recording tolerance is +ve or -ve, the best you can do is ai...

No, its just just small (possibly negative) values of pretty. Guess it depends on if its a linear or logrithmic measurement. "Wow, look at that girl, she must be at least 8dBP" (dBP being prettiness relative to the standard metric girl, which if other metric standards are to go by would be...

Having said that, I am seriously not a fan of Deaf O Connor, Englbert, Tom Jones and all that tosh. But people like them. They like Herb Alpert as well and my first reaction is 'Eeeeeeek! People are so dumb' Well, I think at the least, we have to thank Herb Alpert for A&M Records. And I will ad...

I thought that afterwards!! Never mind a good learning process anyway. Have to look at those if there's any, what I did was simulate the test or typical usage conditions listed on the data sheets, what Volts DC out @ what milliamps for AC r.m.s. in, plus any series 'safety' resistors, then tw...

the CCS will set the current, so the 1R2 will have no effect. 15R will give 83ma, 16R 78ma, depends how hard you want to run the valves. Either will work.

half watt will be fine if its the CCS sense resistor. But 15 instead of 16 may raise the current more than you want.

No, 560R will set the current. The voltage on the grid will be set by the voltage across the cathode resistor. So Ohms law will set the grid voltage. Then the valve will set the anode voltage as the point on the plate curves where the grid voltage line crosses the horizontal current line set by the ...
