The cure used to be a bit brutal. Take the neck in your left hand, the top horn of the body in your right. Push down on the top horn and yank the neck upwards - you'll hear a crack as the neck moves slightly  The top E should now be in the correct position. It works, but it's one for the brave.

The Touch will not play any 24/192 material without the installation of Triode's EDO applet. If you're not using Triode's applet and the Touch can play 24/192 material then the server is transcoding things. Nearly everything I have ripped so far is standard CD resolution. I have just ripped a few H...

Is your NAS doing all the transcoding malarkey? How do I know whether it is doing this? I think it is SQLite. Not really changed anything from default although the other night disabled quite a few of the add-ons, and also put buffering to 2 secs (was set to 0). This seems to have stopped the 'rebuf...

Is your NAS doing all the transcoding malarkey? That would be a serious cause of rebuffering. My server is run on a Zyxel NSA310, and it cannot do the transcoding thing (insufficient processing grunt), so Zyxel ensure that the code pertaining to transcoding files does not function in the version of ...

Squeezebox and NAS going fine until last night when it started pausing while it said it was 'rebuffering'. I have it on wireless at the moment so is there anything I can do with the settings, might it be the router settings, or would I be better getting a long ethernet cable? I think your issues ar...

In the end we go our own ways. There are two ways to take their essay. 1. They have some good points but waffle on a bit risking losing the reader. 2. They are so full of their own self-importance that they seem to have most readers mixed up with someone who gives a shite. We decide for ourselves. ...

The case is actually quite simple, if laborious to prove - if patents have been awarded in the disputed territories then the date of patent award is the only point of interest.

If no patents have been awarded there's no case.

The bit that bothers me about this is that the US court decision came from a jury.
The case was thrown out of court in this country, and quite right too.

The Korean courts findings were amusing - the claimant and defendant were guilty of copying each other.
