Re: Nothing In Particular

May as well order 30, it's only about a pound or so more than 20 so any extras are almost free.

Re: Nothing In Particular

OK, I'll order 30 2oz boards tomorrow. Cost will be around £1.50 each, plus a pound or so for the cost of me forwarding them onto you. Delivery from JLCPCB is normally around 3weeks.

I'll confirm once I've placed the order.

Re: Nothing In Particular

I don't need any myself but I'm happy to order a batch, 4 for Phil and 6 for Simon gives a nice round order quantity. Do you want 1oz or 2oz copper?

I have an order to place for some other boards tomorrow so I'll add to that order and we can share the delivery cost.

Re: Nothing In Particular

See attached, this is the price for 10 PCBs with 2oz copper. Reducing the quantity to 5 (minimum order) will save about £2.

If there's interest I'm happy to order a batch of PCBs and distribute them at cost?

Buffalo 3SE DAC

Another of my surplus projects... This is a great sounding DAC based on the twisted Pear Buffalo 3SE (ES9018) DAC board and Legato I/V stage. The ESS9018 accepts PCM and DSD input formats - I've used it upto 384Khz PCM and DSD256 via HQ Player. Power supplies are Salas Reflektor Ds for the DAC and S...

Re: Nothing In Particular

Wow, at that sort of price I'd have a few more as spares. Phil, the boards you had off me before were spare ones from some I purchased via DIY Audio and have 2oz copper - I still have a pair for myself. The gerber files I have are the same layout but that price is for 1oz copper. You can pay extra ...

Transcendent 300B SE-OTL

I've got far too many bits of stuff so I think, rather reluctantly, I need to move some of it on, starting with my modded scratch built version of the Transcendent 300B SE-OTL amps - these are amps I bought to Owston a couple of years back. There are some images of the project here; https://imgur.co...

All this faffing about! I now have a proven set of gerber files for a MoFo board - less than £6 for 5 PCBs delivered via JLCPCB...

Re: what are you doing ?

I ventured into the office today for the first time since March - very strange atmosphere at first, very quiet and subdued. I wouldn't want the job when it eventually comes around to removing the stickers that are everywhere! Still, it was a very welcome change to yet another dayworking in the spare...

Back in the saddle today after a couple of rest days - felt good and chuffed with my effort - 40seconds of my previous best time on the route.

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

Whoa, not nice Nick, you got off lighty by the sound of it! We all get more fragile as we age - I had a seemingly innocuous slip and ended up with three expensive screws in my hip! As they said when I arrived in hospital, it's not the fall that does the damage, it's the landing. Take care and hope y...
