Re: Nothing In Particular

I saw an ad on Ebay for some open baffle speakers with 18" Beyma drivers, but no mids or tweeters. I sent the chap an Ebay message making an offer, but Ebay have banned personal details like address and phone numbers being exchanged before a sale has been completed. So, he put up a £1 BIN (buy it no...

Oh so true. :)
Yes, I seem to remember you posting about your bike a while ago Phil. I think you might have even been up the road on it?

Re: Warning LED when valve stops conducting - a little SS help needed

In my most humble opinion, getting the filament heating "right" is the key to directly heated valve performance.

To that end, each directly heated valve should have it's own separate filament supply.

I'd like to read this one Ed,

High performance audio power amplifiers - Duncan

BUT, did you realise they are advertised between £40 - £70 for used copies on Ebay ?

Celestion B18-400

This might be a Steve S question.

I've seen some Celestion B18-400 speakers on the interweb.

All I can find out is they are 18", 400W, and 8 ohm. There seems to be no other information online.

Can anyone help with more info ?

Some while ago I sent my poo samples away for inspection by the bowel cancer department. Imagine my surprise when I got a letter last week saying they had found a positive result. Anyway, I had a colonoscopy this afternoon at Addenbrookes hospital and they found everything is normal. :D It's...

Re: DIY grounding box.

I am agnostic about all this, but I do find it funny that the firsts post about making one is asking what goes into it. Aluminum powder and iron oxide may work well... Even those who have DIY'd them seem reluctant to divulge their secret recipe. :? A mix of several different types of crystal was wh...
