Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

Ground clearance could be a problem too, but I'll have it if its going to go to the skip anytime soon :) I've done nearly 3 miles this week on a bike. Walked about 10 today though, we seem to be doing a lot of walking this summer. This summer we walked from London Bridge station back home to Dirtfud...

Re: Nothing In Particular

You have to listen to the whole track to experience the genius that was early Roxy Music; Agreed, awethumness. He looked very familiar. It was Chad from Red Hot Chilli Peppers. The whole band were staying there. Leave my number with 'em Nick, I'm available if Flea can't make any of the gigs :)

Re: Nothing In Particular

Bwahahahahaha! Awethumne!

Selling cars, we've had...

Nick Drake/Pink Moon for VW.
Hawkwind/Master of the Universe for Ford.
CB+HMB/Zig Zag Wanderer for Hi 'n' dry.

I'm sure there's more, keep 'em coming.

List! :)

Re: Gong

Ta for the heads up Greg. Some of the BBC/Peel sessions and the live recordings have been available before but it does seem a lot more 'legit' than other 'remastered' versions which the band didn't benefit from financially due to contract wranglings from years ago I've read about elsewhere. £95 thou...

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

It's a "fixie" ! Looks like you enjoyed it. :) It was on both accounts :) The pub that owns it was doing a charriddeeee fund raiser, £1 for a go on their mini Penny Farthing. It's either a very small penny-farthing or you're a growing lad Mr. Bass... A bit of both I fear! I did do a nice 15 miler o...

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

Dave's bike on the other hand behaved impeccably, and a credit to his rebuilding skills. I'm not sure what animal he was hiding in his rear brake tho...... Ta, yeah very pleased with my 1st proper nut 'n' bolt rebuild/restore project. Its in its 'phase 1' completion stage at the moment, thats why i...

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

The Kent Chapter of the Audio-Talk Ruffty Tuffty Biker Boyz Gang had an outing today down to Headcorn, our-Thomas on his (hairy arsed!) 1952 AJS 500cc Model 18 (I think. (DIET Confirmed!) and me on my recently finished and now road legal 1960 Redditch-built 350cc Bullet. Good fun ride out. Brum brum...
