The why's and what's of life.

So here goes :- Why does one eye always close when you pull a nasal hair ?. and What does an occasional table do the rest of the time ?. and Why do you dance when you hit your thumb wit...

However, unknown to myself, my wife had our cartridges refilled at Cartridge World, shops nationwide, excellant, absolutely no problems with the quality of ink and at half the price of ...

[quote="Dave the bass"]Welcome Mr JFS, its good here. Where are you based? I live in Widnes, a small town that was originally in Lancashire, rejected as an outpost of Merseyside and was adopted ( possibly a sympathetic gesture ) by Cheshire. Its bang on the M62/M6 corridor so is very good ...

Electronics wise, I couldn't lay egg to bacon but can wire a x/over and with limited but effective woodworking skills ...

Thanks Scottmoose Strangely enough it was GM's 31" that I was originally going to build but using Jim Griffins baffle size and ribbon tweeter - alterations to cabinet depth to accomodate the reduced baffle width. The USA Jordan cabinet looked aesthetically more pleasing and the 35" cabinet...

Many thanks for your replies, your views reflect my experiences re- rebating. As for the basket on the JX92s, Ted Jordan has always been frugal with his expenditure - I have heard. I will be building the 35" MLTL cabinet as featured on the Jordan USA website and substituting the Aurus Cantus ri...

The sonic importance of rebating drive units ?.

Hi - this is my first post on the audio-talk forum and although starting off with a question, with nearly 40 years of playing with hi-fi, I hope at some point I can bring something to the forum in the future. Over the years I have built many published speaker designs, but one thing that I have never...
