Re: esp32 soc computers

I can't help thinking there is so much willy waving here..... It seems you completely missed my point, to wit: i.e. memory vs speed, option. where I come from this is not an option...one strives for both.... If it wasn't for the wimping out statement I think I'd already have let you have the last wo...

Re: esp32 soc computers

thanks for the link... it maybe that I've found another source for spare parts for the fine offset units, providing they sell the bits individually. The esp32 certainly performs, although I'm a tad surprised at the memory greed of some of the arduino libraries. It reminds me of the early microsoft o...

Re: New Toy To Play With

isn't this leading to brand identity..... I've found it really trixy, but when it came to marketing nouse I was deffo last in line. The few amps I've sold(admitting I'm no expert in design or marketing) I put the little brass disc on the front that had the same logo as all my loudspeakers...that was...

I've just heard from my mother in law..... there is now a curfew operating in France. If you are caught out of doors without a valid printed and approved reason then you are fined 38 euros immediately. Apparently the wording on the approval has to be to the government specification. The penalty is g...

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

Not a motor bike but son and I are looking for a decent LR series III or a Defender 110 to rebuild over the next few months... way to go! I've had 3 series 3 in my life and I can safely say that fiddling with a series 3 is better than sex. Oh yeah! If you do get a series 3 instead of a defender the...

Interesting! At the moment, I'm busy playing with ESP32s and the ESP-IDF development environment with Eclipse as the IDE... For $5, it's an amazing device... deffo a bit geeky and a tad OT but you just jogged me into taking stock of where I left off with the intro of weather stations at locations w...
