I was wondering if anyone has tried in their audio system ‘spatial equalization’ instead of DSP? DSP effectively corrects some minor room related lower frequency problems but always at the expense of "reality" of sound.

I don't understand how mixing DSP with passive x-over could ever work. The delay of the DSP would need to be corrected (added) on the passive x-over side. With multiple drivers one could adjust the distance of the drivers but with one driver this is not possible. How could one tune the phase (delay)...

It's obviously an MP3 file (32kHz, filter cut off at 16kHz) upsampled to wav . It still is MP3quality but is recognized as as 44.1/16 wav. What would happen if we used the Parafeed cap as part of a crossover? An issue could be that the OPTs primary has a much higher inductance than what would be needed for L for using the OPT as part of x-over filter. Parafeed with CCS is probably the best way because a very high quality inductor for the full audio spectrum must be also very expensive and maybe hard to find. The challenge is to find a good compromise with the plate voltage and idle current so that the CCS doesn't have to operate at crazy high B+.

I still couldn't figure out how you made adjustments for the load impedance for all the different tube types which you have used together with the same OPTs and speaker impedance. Did you calculate the details, measure the results? Or did everything simply fall into some kind of "grey zone"...
