Re: Nothing In Particular

Coffee is always to be reckoned with. I wonder how much has changed ( two stories) then as it was 35 years ago or so. Glad your enjoying things though.

Re: Nothing In Particular

There's this bar..... OMG, hysterical adolescent laughter.... but seriously there us much to see and do because it was a stylish place to visit before they discovered oil.

Yes yes yes, I too have been in Armenia but that's another story. It's not important really.

Re: Nothing In Particular

I wasn't joking about Syria but Baku is even further out of the way unless you are coming back to England the very long way round.

I got me voltmeter out and... it was all I could do, I reasoned.

Ymmv isn't as friendly as I imagined, or maybe I was thinking about ymmv. - all very confusing.

Re: 6C33C SE-OTL

12 volts at 3 amps will work for a while but they will overheat and die. My experience is that you need at least double the ampage stated. Maybe this is because old valves aren't lap top computers and I have found that speccing to what the valve needs does not sit comfortably with the switched mode ...

Re: 2A3 "Pink SET" Amp Rebuild.

for the sake of experiment I'd be tempted to go down to 10mfd - this may be too far but can you hear the difference?

Ultrapath... vaguely familiar - what was it all about?
