I have just taken delivery of one of these Desoldring stations it is built down to a price for sure but it works a treat on pcbs boards the parts just fall out I also got spares for it like spare gun and heater elements and bits and bobs i got it for £67.00 a bargin http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sis.htm...

I would leave them alone Philip unless you can get one for next to nothing

I had one with a 320G hard drive when I stopped using it I removed the drive and managed to reformat it to NTFS but lost 100mb

However, I think BT now lock the drive as sky now do as I cant reformat the sky one
