Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

Looks like a light headwind of 7 to 10mph for Ray and the gang today. Probably no rain though. Should be OK with 25 riding, plenty of people to take turns at the front.

Re: The nightmare of self-destructing DVDs.

Mark, you really need to invest in something like a NAS and a streaming solution. I know your reluctant and nervous but there's plenty of assistance on tap here. I've ripped a number of DVDs to hard disk and they all play just fine. Happy to help. Yes, true - now, I checked and remembered I'd read ...

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

Re: Manafort Trial

Jury still deliberating - decision expected Monday. The evidence must be very complex and extensive when you see what was shown at the beginning of the week. However the defence say the case is not strong enough for them to warrant putting up any witnesses... Meanwhile the judge has commented that h...

Re: PCL86 SE Ultralinear Monos

Not as much as 470k! Which I have seen... :D You still seem uncomfortable with this Mike. Surely 470k or even 680k would be entirely sensible as a load on an ECC83 at 1 or 1.5ma, for instance, given the Ra. If it has much voltage swing, then anything much below these values will increase distortion...
