Re: Manafort Trial

These guilty pleas and convictions should weaken Trump's support in Congress in the mid-terms providing a better chance of impeachment. On the other hand who knows what might happen. The old rules appear to very elastic these days much like Brexit's referendum cheating and the government's response ...

Trump may yet pardon him if there's a guilty verdict.

Re: Interesting acoustics

The effect is rather lost in the recording sadly. It's a massive structure and the sound reflecting back and forth end to end is very impressive. I wonder why it dies off so suddenly after five or six reflections. You may think I need to get out more but I was! It's the sort of sound that totally ru...

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

I bought one from Lidl a few weeks back. They may have some left.

I think I paid around £20. Not bad at all and the handlebar restraint is very good.

Nothing worse than working on a bike without one of these.

Re: Interesting acoustics

Yes you're right Mike! I've always been fascinated by sound. I loved my PE Minisonic synth that I built as a teen despite the fact that it couldn't hold pitch for any time. As a BT apprentice I spent a couple of weeks in the tunnels under Newhall St in Brum. They were very good for echoes and reverb...

Interesting acoustics

I walk the dog under a viaduct which carries trains over the River Severn in Shrewsbury. I enjoy the reverberation in the arch we pass through and thought I would record some foot stamping. Perhaps others have their own favourite places with interesting acoustics. Of9B25NI1HU The longest reverbs see...

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

After a late breakfast consumed sitting outside a cafe in sunny Dolgellau Friday, SWMBO and I cycled the Mawddach Trail to Barmouth and back. This trail using the route of an old rail track following the estuary is a must see. Returning as the sun is beginning to set returns dividends with bird site...
