Re: What Are You Listening To Right This Minute?

In my job I get calls from about forty assorted members of the great unwashed everyday. Most are nice ordinary people and some are total unmitigated arseholes, but every now and then I get a complete diamond. I had a call from a totally laid back Jamaican guy today. He was a little confused about br...

That’s what a motor bike’s supposed to look like.

Re: Richard Dunn

Who are you.......? I’m Shane. That’s my name. I don’t hide behind a succession of anonymous pseudonyms. My history is well documented here and elsewhere. I’ve enjoyed being an active member of this forum for the last ten years. I dont give a stuff about Richards arguments with other people but it ...

hate is a word i use rarely..
You should try being a bit less profligate with a few other words. Especially written ones. Tell you what, next time you think of a word, any word, don’t write it.

Re: Where I Work

So, it was Portsmouth then. It said Plymouth when I read it! We do have the Mayflower steps here to commemorate the event, although apparently after leaving here they put in to Newlyn to take on extra water for the voyage, so theoretically that would be the last point of departure. Three hundred an...

Re: Balance Mains

Just seemed to me to be yet another of these people who appear from nowhere, have a go at Richard and then disappear again back to god knows where. Tiresome if so, apologies if not.

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

These don't fall over either (usually) Try telling my Mum that. About six weeks before my brother arrived in the world (1947), the two halves of the combination she and Dad were riding decided to go their separate ways, dumping her upside down in a ditch. Dad then graduated to a BSA three-wheeler w...

Re: The Audio-Talk Motorcycling thread.

I never had a bike but I always loved the engineering behind them. Oval pistons? Transverse air cooled straight six? Square Four? Don’t get any of those in cars but you do get four wheels so it doesn’t fall over and kill you.

Any interest in an Audio-Talk motoring thread?

Re: Richard Dunn

And so it goes on. There will now follow page after page of insults, innuendo, accusations, hurt pride, foul language, idiocy and rants.

Just when it had all died down after last year.

Thanks Antonio, thanks. Next time you want to stick your hand in a hornet’s nest, please don’t do it here.

Re: Richard Dunn

With all due respect that’s your problem, not ours. This thread was set up by someone else who felt the need to air his grievances with Richard, and it would have been better if it hadn’t been. This is an Audio forum, not a self-help group for people with problems Richard or anyone else. I repeat, i...
