OK out of curiosity then what reading does it give for DTB little digits?
:D Specially for you Colin I've just checked. Really. Forefinger-Forefinger I'm 1.08 uF. Forefinger-index finger I'm hovering betwixt 0.89 and 0.56uF.

If I heat myself up with an air gun I might change values. I'll be back in a min....

What are the power cord connectors on these WD amps? I'd like to use the same ones so mine are usable with the WD kits.

Best ask Peter, they have been changed to something like locking DIN's I think.

Or, subtract the difference? Image

Nice one Dave! Image

Oo-er. According to my old Fluke 83 I'm usually 380 pF Image

Mind you that's holding the thick probes only

Well, got myself all worked up and depressed over my Tx knowledge (lack of) so went shopping.

Got most of the resistors and some caps.

I also got D1/2/3/4, he looked at it and said 'these will do' and gave me 4 IN5408.

he didnt know what i needed for D5/6 though so ill deal with them later.

Gives me something to do tonight anyway.

Couple of IN4001 will be fine, or any silicon diode, its just the 0.6v forward drop thats needed.

Well, PSU III is starting to take shape too.

Didnt know what bridge rectifier was needed for the heaters so i fitted GBU 4J that was removed from my kel84's heaters.

As for D5/6, i had IN4002 so i put those in.

Hopefully that will be ok?

Still cant post pics though.

Should be fine. What happens when you try and post pics?

Hi Graeme,

I saw over on WD you had to take the bridge out of your '84 for the build. I've got a couple I've removed from bits of old kit, I'll post them to you if it helps you.

Also, update your 'wants' list. I'll have a nose through my parts box

Keep up the good work.
