#1 Polishing question.

I have an old Black & Decker 5” bench grinder which I inherited from my Dad. If I wanted to use it to polish the rim of an aluminium turntable platter, what sort of polishing wheel and compound would I need?
The world looks so different after learning science. For example, trees are made of air, primarily. When they are burned, they go back to air, and in their flaming heat is released the flaming heat of the Sun which was bound in to convert air into tree.
