Been listening to the baffles for a while since replacing the Fane 18" with Beyma 18".
Today I have bypassed the 2R padding resistors on the Alpair 12P with clip leads, and I think I'm liking the change.
More listening will tell if it's an all round improvement.

I've put the baffles back in the main system this afternoon.
The bass still needs to be made a bit more prominent, but otherwise it's good to have them back.
Also I still have to do something with the ribbon tweeters I purchased from Scott, but no hurry.
