Only Seiko watches ?

My dear old mum can't wear watches as they all stop working when on her wrist.

Wind up (properly wound) or not, they still don't work

Ah...then it's magic.

There now - does that help at all?

Knew a kid at school like that. They'd just break. That is stop working, he wasn't breaking them on purpose.

I like that Nick:succinct.!

Lunchtime, like time itself, is a useful and practical way of structuring our worlds though our bassman.

Asda didn't have any smoked haddock so today's lunch is going to be fish fingers. :D

I'm trying to decide whether I can and whether to send it back, dropped out a lot yesterday evening.

Might give it a few more days.

When it's working, very satisfactory sound. When it's not, no sound.

Go figure, tonight so far, faultless and it does sound blooming good. Dam just as I typed that it dropped out twice, but just for a semi quaver.

Decision not made yet.

Surely other people get these glitches?

A brand new Apple TV which works fine with the cheap dac.

Now it's dropping out most of the time. I have changed the optical Leed and just as bad or worse.

It'll have to go back to the seller.

I think I'm just a victim of dodgy sellers selling faulty gear.

The Beresford DAC was bought off someone here but I can't remember who, and that never worked consistently. However that is with Stan getting sorted out so I won't keep harping on about it, seems a known issue with that DAC which he has a fix for. So I am definitely not alone in experiencing these issues, just seems odd few experiences being shared here. Probably our small forum is too small a sample.

It's just I'm beginning to loose faith in the whole digital media. Kind of like my music to play right through, without punctuation of silence,

Oh well, I've requested a return. See what happens.

See how Stans DAC sounds when I get it back.
