Portishead line Roseland NYC,
excellent recording and great music,

also think Nirvana unplugged is very revealing album, it really shows a good system.

Dick's Picks 4 by the Grateful Dead.
Not available in vinyl, and one of the greatest recorded concerts by the Grateful Dead in their finest period .
This concert was recorded on 13th/14th February 1970 at the Filmore East in New York.
The support band was the Allman Brothers, for god's sake !

Pink Floyd..The Wall...First edition Holland pressing on vinyl is particularly fine

Nirvana unplugged...their best album imho and superbly recorded

Anything on Opus 3...all seem superbly recorded

Shelby Lynne "Just a Little Lovin" - Lost Highway recordings

Andreas Villenweider - Book of Roses; Columbia 1991 recording

Three favorites:
Patricia Barber - "Cafe Blue" - superbly recorded jazz masterpiece
Eliane Elias - "Dreamer" - seductive voice, beautiful piano, jazz /bossa nova
Jodi Proznik Quartet- "Foundations" - all good bop instrumentals, love it!

What NOT to buy:
The Puppini Sisters - "The Rise and Fall of Ruby Woo" - great vocal harmonies and great tunes but the recording is so compressed it's fatiguing to listen to-- recording engineer should be flogged for ruining what could have been a wonderful CD.

1. Ethan Johns - If not now then when? Great CD, and very well produced

2. Gotan Project - Lunatico

Also agree with the nickel Creek comments

Cheers
