#1 And another

Post by Nick »

The nice weather and other posts about DAC's had forced me to buy one of these from ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DAC-2496-AK4393-C ... 2eb44c6a3f

Looks ideal for a valve buffer addition. And I have always liked the DAC's big brother since hearing a Modright modified Transporter.

That's a good price as well.

Now, the other day, I was given a dual secondary 15V transformer (thanks Bob) so it would be a shame not to do something with it.

I think one of these will be good to tinker with rather than discombooberate the one I use in the main system.

I can pile in here too - oh no! But at that price - no wonder you have to sold it yourself.

I have the bits for an original Lampucera Lampi. At the rate I get working these days it may be ready for Owston 2012. I'll snub, oscon and then 6N6p it so maybe 2013.

Nick's one has a 96kc indicator light. I want one.
